We also provide ongoing support to ensure you’re completely satisfied every step of the way.

WHAT IS THE COMED UTILITY REBATES AND ENERGY EFFICIENCY PROGRAM?
Following the passage of the Future Energy Jobs Act (2016) and the Clean Energy Jobs Act (2021), Illinois has become a national leader in clean energy initiatives. These landmark pieces of legislation were created to promote job growth, maintain low energy costs, and dramatically increase access to energy saving programs.
One of the most impactful outcomes of this initiative is the ComEd Energy Efficiency Program, which offers a wide range of benefits, including:
- Instant discounts and financial rebates
- Professional energy assessments
- Expert consulting services
- Comprehensive energy-saving solutions
These incentives are designed to help homeowners, small businesses, and public facilities reduce energy use, lower operating costs, and improve comfort especially for buildings operating on limited budgets.
Today, rebates are available for nearly every type of property, regardless of age or size. Whether your building is brand new or over a century old, 1,000 square feet or 100,000 square feet, there’s likely a rebate or incentive that fits your situation.
Due to the program’s expansive reach, ComEd relies on qualified partners known as Service Providers and Program Implementers to manage, promote, and complete the work within the program. That’s where Neighborhood Electric comes in.

HOW TO PARTICIPATE AND SAVE THOUSANDS?
To qualify for ComEd Energy Efficiency Program rebates, you must work with a certified ComEd Service Provider like Neighborhood Electric.
As a part of this exclusive network of trusted companies who specialize in energy efficiency and installation, we’re authorized to assess your building, recommend personalized upgrades, and complete the necessary installation work all in full compliance with ComEd’s standards.
As a Service Provider we have been carefully selected, undergone background checks, and received rigorous training to ensure that we are the utmost qualified to carry out the mission and values of the program. As providers, we must be certified by the Illinois Commerce Commission (ICC) as Energy Efficiency Measures Installers to complete any work adding yet another layer of credibility and quality assurance.

- Motion or daylight sensors
- HVAC and refrigeration system optimizations
- Solar panel recommendations
EV charging station installations
Step 3: Analyze Your ComEd Bill:
We’ll review your utility bill to estimate potential savings and determine which rebate programs your facility qualifies for.
